(across from the Adult Detention Center).

Fleet ManagementThe Fleet Management Section is staffed with three Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT), one of who serves as the Fleet Manager. This staff fields numerous daily requests related to facility and fleet upkeep. They service and repair the Department’s large fleet of vehicles and the vast array of fire and EMS equipment and apparatus. The inventory includes 86 fire apparatus (33 fire engines, 29 water tenders, 21 brush trucks, 3 aerials), 22 EMS apparatus (8 ambulances and 14 rescues), and a number of specialty, support and staff vehicles. The current value of existing fire and EMS vehicles alone is estimated at $17,486,000.
2009 Accomplishments include: • Performed Annual Pump Test on all Fire Engines according to National Fire Protection Standards
